Haliburton Sculpture Forest General Information

The Haliburton Sculpture Forest is a unique outdoor sculpture gallery with 40 sculptures and six benches created by Canadian and International artists. The sculpture forest is located in Glebe Park, open from dawn to dusk throughout the year. Use the interactive map of the sculpture forest to navigate the trails, or download the PocketSights App to launch the self-guided tour!

The Sculptures

With over 40 unique sculptures to discover, it’s easy to spend an entire afternoon exploring the trails. Some highlights include the steel blue Horse and Rider sculpture, Sleep of the Huntress, and the abstract Redwing Frond installation. Read more about the sculpture gallery and artists.

Spring, Summer, & Fall Activities

The trails are free to the public for walking and biking in the spring, summer, and fall. Join a free guided tour every Tuesday throughout July and August.

Winter Activities

The trails continue to be available for visitors during the winter, transforming into snowshoeing and skiing trails. The snowshoeing trails are free to the public and available north of the Haliburton Highlands Museum. If you don’t have snowshoes, you can rent them at the museum! The 13.5km trails of the Sculpture Forest are groomed every winter for Nordic and skate skiing. Purchase your trail pass at Ski Haliburton.

Downtown Haliburton Sculpture Exhibition

Every June through October, the Haliburton Sculpture Forest heads downtown! Sculptures are installed along Highland Street and are available for purchase!
