With over 600 lakes and rivers in the Haliburton Highlands, there are dozens of beaches to choose from near our resort; here are five of our favorites:

1.   Rotary Head Lake Beach

Head into town and visit Rotary Head Lake Beach, the area’s most popular beach. Take advantage of the abundant amenities here, such as a shallow beach, dock, accessible beach mat, washrooms, picnic shelter, sports courts, outdoor fitness equipment, and walking paths.

2.   Haliburton Lake Beach

Haliburton Lake Beach, located at 1267 Hodgson Rd, offers a sandy beach, play equipment, picnic shelters, a beach volleyball court, and a large grassy area for picnics. 3.   Drag Lake Beaches

Drag Lake is one of the largest lakes in the region, offering two fantastic beach accesses for a day of fun in the sun. Sandy Point Beach is located at 1043 Edmonton Trail and includes amenities like a small beach and picnic tables. The other beach access, Sandy Cove, is just a few minutes away at 1201 Dardanelles Road and has the same amenities as Sandy Point.

4.   Pine Lake Beach

Visit Pine Lake Beach and plan the perfect beach day at this 25-metre beach, offering a dock, bench, and sandy area. Head across the beach to the West Guilford Recreation Center, where you can enjoy amenities such as picnic shelters, horseshoe pits, washrooms, and a baseball diamond.
